TALES OF TIREE

When she was eight years of age, she and her best friend Myra,
discovered an old outhouse at the
back of a deserted fishermanÕs cottage
outside the village.
Inside the cottage they found two old chairs and
a wooden box, a porcelain dog and a pair of orange nylon curtains.
They took it all to the outhouse and used an old rope to hang the curtains.
They spent most of that summer there.
One day they stumbled on some old porn magazines in the loft above the cottage.
That day her mother came looking for her, to tell her that her fathers ship had come in.
From that day on she was forbidden to see Myra.
Two weeks later someone moved into the cottage.
She still remembers the photographs.
