ÒThe 3 sequences, that are shown
in a rabbit shed in Denmark, in a kitchen in Germany and in a yard on
Iceland, are made with these places in mind, but they are also sequences
from my new documentary video art project, currently shown at Tensta Konsthall
in Stockholm: ÒVILLARÓ that tells a unique story based upon my own family
members who were split apart by war and met again in peacetime many years
later.
T he documentary links the
stories to the small Spanish village of Villar del Cobo, and it is from
here that one gets a glimpse that relates to the 3 specific spaces elsewhere
in Europe where similar acts also occur every day.ÓEva studied art in
Spain and Denmark. For more information see cv
and web.
