The danish visual artist Kaj Nyborg (*1963) works within the field of site-specific installations, his resent installations are most often build up directly in ( or even into ) the different exhibition spaces. Even though this type of work has to calculate with a short termed presence before it has to be deconstructed again, these in situ works always insists on having a high perfection in their actual physical appearance.

DRIVE-IN / HOMESICK / SLOW WAVE MOTION ( isoplant no.2 ) is the second in a succession of installations and installational works, that the artist in the future will show in different locations under the mutual designation:
ISOPLANT.
Most of the produced works will take shape as temporary site-specific installations that relate to the architectonic and local environmental characteristics of the given location for the exhibition and either interacts with or occupies the specific territories.
The ISOPLANT projects wil be produced as both external and internal installations.

The installations for GUK- Exhibition place refers to the remarkable difference that the three spaces in question both offers and displays, but also to the fact that the installations are situated in or around familys private homes. What is? Privacy. What is? Home. How is it all possible to intrude, disturb or disorganize in such areas ?.
- Are they already exposed ?.

DRIVE-IN / HOMESICK / SLOW WAVE MOTION ( isoplant no. 2 ) is supported by:
