Outside - White - Inside

During a period of four years, white has been the main concept of my work. White seen as an organic structure, which can be drawn into various stories and situations.

White is here seperated into three categories :

the person/individ, the place and the object/colour.

The person/individ: indicates the spectator as well as the narrator.

The place: is the actual site specific place of the exhibition.

The object/colour: is the physical appearance of the object.

The exhibition is a simple every day story, sat on the outside and the inside of the sites. The story is always in opposition to the act of the spectator, when he is out the story is about something going on inside. The spectator seems to arrive on the wrong place at the wrong time. It seems as if the work of art is dealing with this blind travel of both the spectator and the artist.
